Job summary

Lockheed Martin in the United States is seeking a Field Engineer Level 2 to support the Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) Training Systems Program. This role provides hands-on maintenance and technical support for HH-60W training devices and simulators to keep equipment operational for Air Force training requirements.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting electromechanical and computer-based systems, documenting actions, and coordinating with Level 3/4

Qualifications

• 2-year degree.
• CompTIA Sec+ required.
• 2+ years of experience in electronics, aviation maintenance, computer systems, simulators, training systems, or related technical field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and unscheduled maintenance on CRH training devices and simulator systems.
• Troubleshoot and isolate hardware, software, networking, display, computer, and peripheral system faults.
• Support simulator operations to maintain device availability and training throughput.
• Perform system startups, shutdowns, preflight inspections, and post-maintenance operational checks.
• Use manuals, schematics, and troubleshooting procedures to identify and correct faults.
• Document maintenance actions and findings accurately per program requirements.
• Coordinate with Level 3/4 Field Engineers, vendors, and engineering when advanced support is needed.
