Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Nevada is seeking a Field Engineer Level 2 to support the Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) Training Systems Program. This role provides hands-on maintenance and technical support for HH-60W training devices and simulators, ensuring equipment remains operational for Air Force training requirements.

You will perform preventive, corrective, and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and display systems, and document actions in maintenance logs in

Qualifications

• 2-year degree required.
• CompTIA Sec+ certification preferred.
• 2+ years in electronics, aviation maintenance, or related field.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and unscheduled maintenance on CRH training devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and display faults.
• Support simulator operations to maintain device availability.
• Document maintenance actions in logs and AFTO forms.
• Coordinate with Level 3/4 engineers and vendors as needed.
• Assist with software/firmware updates and configuration changes.
• Maintain a safe, clean maintenance environment.
