Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a Field Engineer II in Wisconsin to learn the Project Engineer and Superintendent functions, applying training in the field to gain hands-on experience.

You will work with engineers and foremen to keep logs, submittals, and RFIs current, support safety and quality programs, and help coordinate trade contractors to keep milestone dates. Gilbane emphasizes development, teamwork, and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• 1-2 years of experience or internships with a construction organization, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and distribute project information with engineers, project managers and superintendents.
• Ensure logs, submittals and RFIs are up to date in real time.
• Prepare status reports on RFIs, submittals and other documents.
• Create PCIs in CMiC and review quotes from trades.
• Assist in preparation of ATP and OCOS.
• Support safety, QA/QC, and trade contractor coordination activities.
• Contribute to weekly safety inspections and field huddle meetings.
