Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Field Engineer to support the BNATCS RS R program office’s Radar Surveillance Replacement (RSR) initiative. You will represent the program at RSR sites and serve as a SME to engineering leads, performing site planning and providing on-site installation consultation to support disposition activities.

The role requires collaboration with FAA customers, a strong maintenance focus, and the ability to work across busy airports on aggressive installation schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with research, design, and development of electrical equipment and systems.
• Ability to perform independently and in a small team under an aggressive installation schedule.
• Commitment to high-quality maintenance during RSR implementation.
• Professionalism representing Leidos to FAA customers.

Responsibilities

• Represent the PO at RSR sites, executing to an aggressive multi-site schedule.
• Serve as an RSR SME to the program office project, implementation, and engineering leads.
• Participate in final planning and site preparation, including site implementation plans and site visits.
• Provide onsite installation/construction consultation supporting implementation and disposition activities, including advising contractors on SOW requirements.
