Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Field Engineer to support the FAA's BNATCS Radar Surveillance Replacement (RSR) program, representing the program office at RSR sites and ensuring execution to a multi-site schedule. You will serve as an SME to the program office, engineering leads, and contractors, participating in site planning, preparation, and on-site installation guidance.

This role requires hands-on field work at busy airports, with travel up to 75% and a focus on high-quality maintenance and compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with less than 2 years.
Experience with electrical equipment and systems development and testing.
Ability to meet an aggressive installation schedule independently and in small teams.
Hands-on field experience on Radar systems in the active NAS.
Understanding FAA construction/installation requirements at RSR sites.

Responsibilities

Represent the PO at RSR sites, executing to an aggressive multi-site schedule.
Serve as an RSR SME to the program office project, implementation, and engineering leads.
Participate in final planning and site preparation, including development of site implementation plans and site visits.
Provide onsite installation/construction consultation supporting implementation and disposition activities, including advising contractors on requirements based on design drawings and the SOW.
