Job summary

Leidos LLC seeks a qualified Field Engineer to support the BNATCS initiative’s RSR Program Office, including installation, disposition, and site planning at busy U.S. airports.

The role requires hands-on radar systems experience and FAA radar expertise, with travel up to 75%. Responsibilities include representing the PO at RSR sites, advising on design drawings and SOW, and delivering on aggressive installation schedules while maintaining high-quality maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 6+ years in radar systems.
• Completion of formal Radar training at the FAA Academy.
• Radar certification authority at one or more airports.

Responsibilities

• Represent the PO at RSR sites, executing to an aggressive multi-site schedule.
• Serve as an RSR SME to program office, implementation, and engineering leads.
• Develop site implementation plans and perform site visits.
• Provide onsite installation/construction consultation based on design drawings and SOW.
