Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. is seeking a Field/Office Engineer to support complex geotechnical projects across North America.

You will interpret drawings, perform takeoffs, assist in work plans, and coordinate field operations on diverse sites. This entry-level role offers substantial travel opportunities, on-site and office engineering exposure, and a chance to contribute to major infrastructure projects within transportation, water, and power sectors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field.
Willing to travel and relocate nationally.
Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specs.
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and percent complete.
Assist in preparation of work plans and work packages.
Assist in field surveying and work layout support including elevation and control points.
Assist in compiling daily labor timesheets.
Assist in Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) preparation.
Assist in providing underground tunneling and construction operation solutions.
Supervise field operations and coordinate work groups on the jobsite.
