Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co is seeking an entry-level Field/Office Engineer to support both field and office engineering tasks on geotechnical projects. You will assist with interpreting drawings, performing takeoffs, and helping to plan, schedule, and execute work on demanding sites.

This role offers substantial learning opportunities, travel across North America, and exposure to underground and foundation construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field is required.
• Willingness to travel and relocate nationwide.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews.
• Perform material takeoffs and basic engineering calculations.
• Prepare work plans, packages, and submittals.
• Schedule material deliveries and coordinate field work.
• Enter data into the job cost system and review cost reports.
• Support procurement, purchasing, and subcontractor coordination.
