Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer to support field and office operations in a geotechnical context. You will interpret drawings, help plan work, and assist with field surveying, data gathering, and labor tracking.

Base compensation ranges from $82,000 to $88,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for travel across North America. Willingness to relocate and travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field (civil, mining, mechanical, geotechnical, construction management).
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations from measurements and materials percent complete.
• Assist in work plans, packages, and field surveying support.
• Assist in timesheets, JHA preparation, and material deliveries.
• Coordinate work groups, schedule, and supervise field operations.
• Participate in safety reviews and site toolbox meetings.
• Support office engineering with takeoffs, data gathering, and transmittals.
