Job summary

RES is seeking a Field Engineer I to support construction activity tracking while upholding safety and quality standards. The role involves assisting EPC and BOP projects in the utility and renewable energy sectors, with nationwide travel to project sites as needed.

The position emphasizes collaboration with project personnel, adherence to SMS, QMS, and EMS, and continuous improvement through safety and quality practices. Travel and readiness to work across multiple sites are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering or construction management (or equivalent) required or 2 years relevant work experience.
• 1+ year of experience in BESS, Substation, Transmission, or renewable energy EPC contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate construction activity tracking while maintaining safety and quality requirements.
• Support multiple EPC and balance of plant (BOP) projects in the utility and renewable energy sectors.
• Travel to project sites across the country as needed.
• Collaborate with project personnel during morning and All-Hands meetings.
• Ensure adherence to Safety Management System, Quality Management System, and Environmental Management System.
