Job summary

Sundt Enterprise is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer assistant to support technical information flow, drawings, submittals, changes orders and meetings. The role collaborates with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project alignment.

You will help write change orders, RFIs, and meeting minutes while maintaining safety and quality as top priorities on a dynamic construction project in Texas.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position that normally requires a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and other tasks; assists with submittals, change orders, RFIs, and budget forecasting.
• Demonstrates understanding of the project management plan (PMP) and supports in planning and change management.
• Ensures administration of the project quality management plan and promotes a safety culture.
• May assist in calculating daily production rates and unit costs; participates in risk management and cost control.
• May oversee BIM Coordination between Subcontractors and Designers.
• May document Submittals and LEED Certification tasks and create/update ORD drawings.
• Provides lines, grades and layout as required and maintains an organized logbook.
• Generates weekly quantity reports and supports budgeting and cost control.
• Provides support to superintendents to resolve field problems.
