Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer Helper to support field crews by creating points from contract documents for field layout.

The role involves horizontal layout of ducts, pipes, conduits, elevations, sleeves, walls, and hangers, and learning Trimble equipment. The ideal candidate has a background in survey work or is a licensed surveyor looking to grow, with a strong work ethic and ability to operate in a field environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to manage basic field data.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
• Must be a self-starter with a good work ethic and reliable to meet deadlines.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and have a satisfactory driving/criminal record.
• Overtime may be required based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist field crews with field layout using contract documents.
• Learn and operate Trimble software and hardware for layout tasks.
• Coordinate with Layout Technicians and VDC team to improve field processes.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment daily to ensure accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
