Job summary

Kress Corporation, a leader in specialty transport carrier manufacturing, is seeking a Field Engineer for installation and maintenance. The candidate will supervise assembly and commissioning of heavy mobile equipment in the field, provide on-site technical support, and liaise with customers to address issues, ensuring equipment operates reliably at client sites.

The role requires expertise in hydraulics and electrical systems, strong communication, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• 2+ years of technical education in heavy mobile equipment.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ work experience in heavy mobile equipment service and repair.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite supervision to assemble and commission new heavy mobile equipment.
• Perform onsite operator and maintenance training.
• Develop customized maintenance programs and best practices for new equipment.
• Assist customers with technical inquiries and troubleshooting.
• Ensure safety and environmental regulation compliance during site activities.
• Provide field feedback for product improvements.
• Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Travel frequently to client sites.
