Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group in Fresno, CA is seeking a Field Engineer to support field operations, planning, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and technical execution on a major heavy civil project. The role interfaces with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field crews to ensure successful delivery.

Qualified candidates will have a Civil Engineering or related degree and 5+ years of heavy civil experience, with knowledge of safety regulations and CPM scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of heavy civil construction experience.
• Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with cost tracking, forecasting, and contracts.
• Proficient with CPM scheduling and resource planning.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and develop construction schedules aligned with milestones.
• Coordinate subcontractors for procurement and readiness activities.
• Assist with bid packages, quotes, and contract preparation.
• Prepare work plans and lead preconstruction coordination meetings.
• Monitor field activities for compliance with plans and specs.
• Support monthly progress billing, forecasting, and issue resolution.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain productive site conditions.
• Coordinate with design teams to resolve field changes.
