Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Field Engineer for a large heavy civil construction project in Fresno, California. The role supports field operations, planning, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and technical execution on a major infrastructure program.

The candidate will review plans, manage schedules, and coordinate with owners, designers, and subcontractors to ensure milestones are met. A Civil Engineering degree and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction safety and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with cost tracking, estimating, forecasting, and contracts.
• CPM scheduling and resource planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and develop construction schedules aligned with project milestones.
• Coordinate subcontractors for procurement and readiness activities.
• Assist with bid packages, quotes, and contract preparation.
• Prepare work plans and lead preconstruction coordination meetings.
• Monitor daily field activities for conformance to plans and specifications.
• Support change orders, RFIs, submittals, and progress reporting.
• Maintain safety standards and relationships with stakeholders.
