Job summary

Sequoia Services is seeking a Field Engineer to join our Heavy Civil Team to assist Project Managers on dam construction, coal ash remediation, landfill projects, and large-scale dirt-moving operations across the Southeast and Southwest. This onsite role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, environmental science, or related field (or equivalent field experience).

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, environmental science, or related field, OR substantial field experience in construction.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and drive for continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with project management software and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager, Superintendent & Owner’s Representatives in planning, execution, and management of complex construction projects.
• Help develop project plans, track budgets and schedules, and monitor progress.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance across sites and activities.
• Collaborate with field teams to adapt plans to changing conditions and priorities.
