Job summary

Sequoia Services is seeking a Field Engineer to join our Heavy Civil Team to assist our Project Managers in constructing projects in the Southeast & Southwest. We are a General Contractor with projects ranging from $10m-$190million dollars, specialize in dam construction, coal ash remediation, landfill construction, and large-scale dirt-moving operations.

As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the planning, execution, and management of complex construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, environmental science, or related field, or substantial field experience in construction.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teams.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement drive.
• Familiarity with project management software, safety regulations, and construction best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans and schedules.
• Track budgets and project milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance across projects.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Superintendent, and Owner’s Representatives.
• Support leadership growth and professional development within the team.
