Job summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to join our Bellevue-based team.

You will support project teams by coordinating field operations, collaborating with trade partners, tracking costs and quantities, solving technical challenges, and helping deliver complex projects safely and on schedule. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and partner relations, with a pathway to grow through PCL’s training programs and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication with supervisors and subcontractors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction-related software.
• Understanding of construction specs, methods, and scheduling techniques.
• Ability to write clear technical communications to trade contractors and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead inspections and safety orientations.
• Coordinate with the superintendent on workforce planning.
• Manage project documents and support engineers and superintendents with RFIs, shop drawings, and changes.
• Assist in supervising self-perform scopes, labor tracking and quantity tracking for LCRs.
• Mentor field engineers and students/interns.
• Identify onsite issues within defined scopes.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and site reviews.
• Contribute to quality plans and ITP development.
• Develop positive relationships with project partners.
