The role reports to the Sales Operations Senior Manager and emphasizes safety, reliability, and performance improvements through hands-on evaluations and engineering recommendations. Travel 60-70% is expected within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• History of success in business, sales, or application engineering.
• Demonstrated success rapidly building and maintaining relationships.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to interpret customer applications to develop P&ID and fluid schematics.
• Ability to solve complex problems and make sound engineering decisions.
• Proven success working with technical offerings.
• Excellent communication, listening, problem solving and a drive to win.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on Swagelok offerings, process and instrumentation applications.
• Identify opportunities to improve system safety, reliability, efficiency and performance at customer facilities.
• Support the Business Development Team with technical expertise during sales calls.
• Troubleshoot fluid system issues and identify root causes.
• Use project management skills to collaborate with customers during design, installation, startup, commissioning and maintenance.
• Maintain strong customer relationships as a trusted engineering resource through project lifecycles.
• Develop P&ID's and provide input to create Custom Solutions for fluid system challenges.
• Attain stated sales goals by understanding distributor and business group plans.
