Job summary

Nova-Tech Engineering, headquartered in Willmar, MN, develops and manufactures process automation for poultry hatcheries worldwide. The Field Engineer will support field activities, validate new technologies, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams.

The role involves domestic and international travel to visit customers, perform testing, analyze results, and document findings. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 2 years of related experience are required,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years related experience.
• In-depth knowledge and skills in CAD and/or embedded programming, C programming language preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical information applicable to the work.
• Ability to understand scientific and mathematical theories to effectively analyze data.
• Excellent diagnostic skills with the ability to train others in equipment functions.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Possess team mentality to successfully achieve objectives through problem-solving and creative thinking.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, proficiency in Spanish preferred.
• Ability to prioritize, handle multiple demands, and maintain attention to detail in a results and deadline-oriented environment.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to be insured.
• Valid passport for global travel.

Responsibilities

• Support field activities to implement engineering designs and conduct research and test protocols to determine product performance.
• Perform root cause analysis, analyze problems, develop corrective actions, and communicate solutions across departments.
• Participate in projects from concept to testing and placement with customers.
