Job summary

Blattner Energy, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to bridge project plans with field execution on renewable energy sites nationwide. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership early in your career, with exposure to large-scale construction and ongoing development opportunities.

You will support daily operations, safety compliance, and coordination with subs, vendors, and internal teams while growing technical, organizational, and leadership skills across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities in a fast-paced field environment.
• Willingness to travel and work project-based assignments (typical projects range 6–18 months).

Responsibilities

• Support daily construction operations to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate with Trade Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to keep work moving efficiently.
• Track daily production quantities, equipment usage, and cost data to support reporting and forecasting.
• Assist with short-interval planning (two-week lookahead) and daily Plan of the Day execution.
• Support QA/QC inspections, environmental compliance activities, and project quality plans.
• Monitor job costs against estimates and escalate risks or variances early.
