Job summary

A Field Engineer in exterior restoration and structural rehabilitation is sought to join A1 Personnel's NYC team. You will inspect active projects, document conditions, and support restoration and compliance efforts on site across New York City.

The role emphasizes field-based problem solving, coordination with contractors and owners, and timely reporting of findings. Ideal candidates have Civil/Architectural Engineering background and 3–5 years in façade restoration or building rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience focusing on façade restoration, building rehabilitation, structural inspection, or construction engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and repair details.
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and site visits at active restoration and rehabilitation projects.
• Assist with evaluation and documentation of existing building conditions.
• Support construction administration and monitor work for compliance with drawings and specs.
• Prepare detailed field reports, inspection documentation, and technical correspondence.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, property owners, and project stakeholders.
