Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer to join the Kiewit Foundations Co district in the Transportation market. You will support field and estimating work on underground and foundation projects nationwide, with travel and relocation as needed.

Base compensation is $82,000 to $88,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package. This role requires a construction-related degree and willingness to work both in the field and in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field (civil/mining/geotechnical/construction management).
• Previous experience in construction or mining is preferred.
• Must be willing to travel and relocate throughout the career as we operate on a national scale.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations from measurements and completed work percentages.
• Help prepare work plans, packages, and JHA's.
• Support field surveying, elevations, and as-built data collection.
• Assist in daily labor timesheets and cost data entry.
• Support in estimate reviews, bid close-out, and change orders.
• Coordinate material deliveries and work group scheduling.
• Provide field support and supervise subcontractor operations.
