Omnisight develops intelligent sensing and safety solutions that combine radar, computer vision, edge computing, and cloud connectivity to make roadways and work zones safer and more efficient.
Our technology is deployed in real-world transportation applications including work-zone safety, traffic monitoring, truck parking, intersection detection, and other intelligent transportation systems.
We are a growing technology company where team members have the opportunity to work across traditional job boundaries, solve real customer problems, and directly impact our products and customers.
We are looking for a technically curious, resourceful, and customer-focused Field Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer or computer science graduate who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technologies, and working directly with customers.
As a Field Engineer, you will serve as a key technical resource for Omnisight customers—helping configure new systems, troubleshoot technical issues, support deployments, and ensure our customers are successful with our products.
We don't expect you to already know radar, computer vision, or all of the technologies we use. We can teach those skills.
Because Omnisight is a small and growing technology company, you won't be limited to traditional technical support. Depending on your skills and interests, you may also contribute to software development, product testing, process automation, data analysis, documentation, and other engineering initiatives.
We place a high value on aptitude, initiative, and willingness to learn. You are not expected to have experience with every technology we use.
Experience in any of the following is a plus, but not required:
During your first several months, you'll develop a strong understanding of Omnisight's products and become comfortable configuring systems, supporting deployments, and resolving common customer issues.
As your experience grows, you'll take increasing ownership of customer deployments and more complex technical challenges.
We also expect the role to evolve based on your strengths and interests. A successful Field Engineer could grow into areas such as application engineering, software development, systems engineering, product management, or technical customer leadership.
If you're technically curious, enjoy solving problems, like working with customers, and want an opportunity to learn quickly while working on real-world technology, we'd like to hear from you.
