Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Field Engineer in Monroe, LA, to coordinate and execute field engineering activities alongside multidisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes applying engineering knowledge to meet project goals and improve construction processes, with a focus on quality and safety.

You will support project managers, field staff, and subcontractors, assist with documenting technical details, and promote continuous improvement through operational enhancements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in construction management or related field required.
• 2–4 years of experience in field engineering, construction management or related field required.
• OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Safety certification preferred; within 6 months of hire required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• ASHE, CHC or relevant market certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with technical review and implementation of engineering plans to meet project specs and quality expectations.
• Works with project managers, field staff, superintendents, self-perform teams and subcontractors to address technical issues and keep the project moving forward.
• Supports site inspections and assessments, identifying risks and suggesting mitigation strategies.
• Assists with gathering and organizing technical documents to keep information up-to-date.
• Recommends process improvements by analyzing field operations and suggesting methods or technologies to improve efficiency and quality.
