Job summary

Genetec Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to deliver on-site and remote professional services to customers and partners across North America. You will lead deployments, audits, and commissioning while liaising with customers and Genetec teams to maximize value and minimize risk.

You will install, service, and troubleshoot Genetec solutions, document activities, and escalate issues as needed. A strong customer focus and technical fluency with VMS, access control, and networking are essential.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills (detail-oriented).
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Valid driver’s license and passport required.
Experience with deployment and maintenance of Genetec solutions.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, audit, assessment, maintenance, and support of Genetec systems at client sites.
Act as a primary on-site and remote technical point of contact for key projects to Genetec’s partners.
Develop and maintain a strong relationship with new and existing customers.
Document activities and anomalies in Genetec systems.
Escalate critical customer issues through proper channels.
Provide functional requirements based on customer feedback to facilitate product improvement.
Offer guidance on upgrades, best practices, and change requests for software implementation and training.
Document on-site or remote service interventions.
