Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Amazon Critical Infrastructure Engineer to provide full life-cycle support for AWS data centers from design inception through maintenance.

You will be the go-to engineering resource for your region, leading architecture upgrades and solving complex problems with diverse teams across operations, design, and QA. You will own conceptual designs for upgrades, coordinate with center operations, and drive audits, field deployments, and commissioning to ensure

Qualifications

• Valid and active driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges with strong problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, perform RCA, and document corrective actions for data center failures.
• Support operational issues with ad-hoc training and procedures reviews.
• Own conceptual design for data center upgrades to improve capacity and efficiency.
• Interface with data center operations, design engineering, server hardware, EH&S to promote standards.
