Job summary

The Field Engineer at JPI Employment Services, LLC supports the Project Manager and Superintendents on active construction sites in San Diego, coordinating subcontractors and site tasks.

You'll monitor field operations, manage Procore documents, and ensure safety and quality records while helping prepare for project close-out. This entry-level to mid-level role requires basic construction knowledge, strong organization, and good communication to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 1 year of related construction experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent(s) in managing subcontractors and suppliers on the project site.
• Observe and learn how to manage a project and document changes in Procore.
• Record minutes, maintain safety logs, and ensure proper filing of reports.
• Create, distribute, and manage punch lists and RFIs in Procore.
• Help prepare documents for project close-out and ensure daily site records are accurate.
