Job summary

All Source Co. is seeking a Project Engineer to support project management through all construction phases in San Diego.

You will assist with estimating, project setup in Procore, and documentation management to ensure smooth execution The role requires collaboration with architects, engineers, and subcontractors, site visits, and active involvement in safety, quality, and scheduling. A 2–3 year background in construction projects is preferred, with proficiency in Procore and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of Project Engineer experience with a general contractor is desirable.
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk and scheduling software basics.
• Strong communication, problem solving, attention to detail, and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day management of construction projects.
• Maintain contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and field teams to align work plans and schedules.
• Ensure work complies with plans, codes, and safety standards; perform inspections.
• Monitor OSHA safety practices and company safety policies on site.
• Assist with material procurement, deliveries, and inventory tracking.
• Conduct regular site visits (50–75% time) to track progress and resolve issues.
• Support change order preparation and processing with project scope changes.
• Prepare progress reports, cost estimates, and schedules for clients and leadership.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and team members to keep projects moving forward.
