Job summary

PMA Consultants, LLC is seeking a proactive Project Field Engineer to support the Resident Engineer through the construction lifecycle. You will review CWPs, monitor activities, document progress, and coordinate with contractors to ensure safety and compliance.

The role offers hands-on field exposure, with opportunities to develop field engineering and project management skills across large infrastructure projects, at multiple levels based on experience and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field.
• 0+ years of experience in construction engineering or field engineering roles.
• Basic understanding of construction practices and safety requirements.
• Familiarity with reading drawings, CWPs, specs, and project docs.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset for tracking activities and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Resident Engineer with field and office activities throughout construction.
• Reviews CWPs and tracks approvals, revisions, and implementation.
• Monitors daily construction activities and documents field observations and milestones.
• Captures progress photographs and maintains project documentation.
• Attends project meetings and prepares minutes; tracks action items.
