Job summary

Fcc-Construction-Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Engineer/Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager in ensuring safety, design conformity, budget adherence, and scheduling.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships with the team, customers, subcontractors, and vendors, and supporting improvement plans. Ideal candidates will have BS in civil engineering and 8+ years of field/project engineering experience, with proficiency in field surveying software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• BS in civil engineering.
• 8+ years’ experience as a field engineer and/or project engineer with progression up through more complex projects.
• Experience with field survey software and equipment.
• Experience reading and understanding construction drawings. Writing and reviewing RFIs and reviewing construction Submittals.
• Computer literacy required including professional proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to ensure that the project is built safely in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Build effective relationships with the work team, with the customer, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Help the Project Manager with proposed improvement plans.
• Prepare project status reports and participate in status meetings; assist in developing minutes.
• Ensure subcontractors are executing work according to scope, plans and specifications.
