Job summary

Barriere Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking Summer Interns to support Plant & Field Operations in Louisiana. You will assist project teams with planning, measurements, and field tasks, gaining exposure to safety protocols and construction processes.

Ideal candidates are pursuing two- or four-year degrees in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields and possess basic Excel, Project, and AutoCAD skills.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess good computer skills (Excel, Project, AutoCAD)
Students seeking two or four year degrees in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or related fields

Responsibilities

Assist Project Manager, Superintendent, and Foreman with evaluating potential safety issues and layout measures
Clarifying specifications for projects
Preparing work orders, schedules and field measurements
Liaising with subcontractors on site
