Job summary

JE Dunn Construction, through its Advanced Facilities Group (AFG), seeks a Field Engineer to support core trade activities on diverse projects. You will participate in safety programs, perform hands-on tasks with the crew, and learn building processes and equipment usage on site.

You will develop strong collaboration with foremen, subcontractors, and project teams while applying Lean practices to daily activities and attending weekly planning meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in construction field preferred.
• Experience in federally required training or apprenticeship preferred depending on location.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in all aspects of the project safety plan.
• Works with tools and self-perform tasks as part of a crew.
• Learns company standards for building processes and equipment usage.
• Builds relationships with foremen, journeymen, superintendents, and subs.
• Participates in meetings such as weekly work plans.
