Job summary

Nexis Builds is seeking a Field Engineer to support the Superintendent and Project Manager on on-site construction projects. You will bridge engineering plans with on-site execution, coordinating, inspecting, and ensuring safety and quality.

Ideal candidates hold a civil-related bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years of field experience, proficient in AutoCAD/Procore/Primavera, and ready to travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 1–3 years field construction experience preferred (internships OK).
• Proficiency with construction software and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising on-site construction activities with the Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to keep work moving.
• Review drawings, shop drawings, and project documentation.
