Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer, Operations Maintenance for the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 11 PM–7:30 AM) to support filling, packaging, anaerobe, and bioreactor operations at our Saint Joseph facility.

You will troubleshoot, perform PMs, and assist with electro-mechanical equipment setup, testing, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards. Strong mechanical/electrical skills and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years mechanical maintenance and basic electrical experience in equipment common to biotech/pharma or food processing.
• High school diploma required; technical institute training preferred.
• Supervisory or crew/job project leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production process equipment supporting production schedules and quality requirements.
• Troubleshoots and implements corrective actions for equipment performance issues.
• Coordinates with Planner/Scheduler and supervisors to ensure scheduling information and timely work orders.
