Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing site in Georgia. You will support maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and improve electrical and mechanical systems on high-speed filling/packaging lines, fermentation, bioreactor, autoclaves, clean utilities, HVAC, and related equipment.

You're expected to have a High School Diploma plus 2 years in manufacturing (pharma preferred); an Associate degree/Technical diploma is a plus.

Qualifications

High School Diploma plus 2 years in manufacturing (pharma preferred).
Associate degree or technical diploma preferred.
Knowledge of EHS requirements.
Basic problem solving and troubleshooting.
Proficient verbal and written communication.
Basic Continuous Improvement.

Responsibilities

Fulfill work order information in SAP on a timely basis and confirm status.
Under limited supervision, performs basic troubleshooting of equipment and contributes to root-cause analysis.
Assist in the realization of Preventative Maintenance plan.
Assist, as required, outside contractors performing basic projects or supplementing work force.
Contributes to cross-functional equipment improvement teams focusing on performance and reliability.
Respond to basic maintenance emergencies and implement corrective actions.
