Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Field Engineer, Operations Maintenance to provide hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting for production equipment including conveyors, fillers, bioreactors, and related systems. You will support setup, testing, and the implementation of new equipment with a focus on reliability and safe operations.

The role requires a high school diploma with five years of mechanical maintenance and basic electrical experience in bio/pharma environments.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma required; technical institute training preferred.
• Minimum five years of mechanical maintenance and basic electrical experience in bio/pharma or related environments.
• Supervisory or crew leadership experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with biopharmaceutical production equipment and processes (fermentation, bioreactor, autoclaves).

Aufgaben

• Maintains production process equipment to support schedules and quality requirements.
• Troubleshoots and implements corrective actions for equipment performance issues.
• Identifies upgrades to improve performance and reliability with approvals.
• Supports training of production and maintenance personnel on electro-mechanical equipment.
• Assists engineering projects involving electro-mechanical applications; participates in design and testing.
• Follows GMP and company SOPs, including safety, budgeting, and documentation.
• Utilizes CMMS for documentation and preventive maintenance.
