Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Field Engineer, Operations Maintenance to support filling, packaging, anaerobe and bioreactor operations. You will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and participate in project work to improve reliability and performance.

The role requires hands-on experience with conveyors, fillers, bioreactors, tanks, pumps, and related systems, plus familiarity with CMMS and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; technical training preferred.
• Minimum five years of mechanical maintenance and basic electrical experience in biotech/pharmaceutical or related fields.
• Experience leading crews or projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production process equipment to meet schedules and quality demands.
• Troubleshoots and implements corrective actions for equipment issues.
• Supports upgrades to improve performance and reliability.
• Mentors production and maintenance staff on electro-mechanical topics.
