RTX is seeking a Field Engineer to support the AEGIS program, primarily located in Norfolk, VA, with extensive travel to Navy installations worldwide. You will install, integrate, test, and maintain SPY-1 radar transmitters and MK99 FCS, while troubleshooting complex systems and training Navy technicians. A U.S.

security clearance and citizen status are required. The role demands readiness for CONUS/OCONUS travel, hands-on hardware work, and collaboration with defense stakeholders to ensure

Qualificações

• Active U.S. government security clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
• Minimum six years of experience with the AEGIS Weapon System.
• Completion of Aegis 'C' School for SPY-1 or FCS transmitters.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to Naval shipyards CONUS/OCONUS to support ORDALT installations.
• Perform installation, integration, testing, operation, and maintenance of SPY-1 and MK99 FCS.
• Analyze failures and implement corrective actions; prepare reports.
• Provide training to Navy technicians on SPY radar and MK99 FCS.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and maintain records.
• Work with multiple teams and communicate with Program Management.
