Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Field Engineer, Operations Maintenance for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) to support filling, packaging, anaerobe and bioreactor operations. You will perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, PM execution, and contribute to reliable production performance.

Responsibilities include equipment troubleshooting, implementing corrective actions, equipment upgrades, and collaborating with planners and supervisors while adhering to GMP and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of mechanical maintenance experience in bio/pharma or food processing.
• Basic electrical experience required; additional technical certifications preferred.
• Supervisory or crew lead experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with biopharma production equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production process equipment to support schedules and quality.
• Troubleshoots and implements corrective actions for equipment.
• Assists with equipment upgrades to improve reliability.
• Coordinates with planners and supervisors to ensure proper scheduling and compliance.
• Uses CMMS to document work and PMs.
• Stays current on new technologies affecting equipment.
