Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Field Engineer for heavy civil construction projects in New England. You will support field operations, interpret drawings, and track progress across major bridge, highway and infrastructure work.

Requirements include a Civil/Construction degree or equivalents, plus experience in heavy civil or bridge projects. Proficiency in MS Office, with AutoCAD/Bluebeam and surveying experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Heavy civil, bridge or highway construction experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• AutoCAD, Bluebeam and surveying experience advantageous.

Job Title: Field Engineer – Heavy Civil Construction

Day to Day

Join an established, employee-owned heavy civil contractor delivering major bridge construction, highway rehabilitation and infrastructure projects across New England. You’ll support field operations, coordinate daily construction activities, track quantities and materials, interpret engineering drawings, maintain project documentation and help ensure quality, progress and site safety.

Responsibilities

• Support daily site operations and construction planning.
• Interpret engineering drawings and assist with surveying and layout.
• Track materials, labour, quantities and project progress.
• Maintain daily reports, RFIs and quality control records.
• Ensure work meets safety, quality and project standards.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and site supervisors.
