Position Overview:

This isn't your typical office-based engineering role. As a Field Engineer with Zephyrus Engineering Limited, you'll be on the front lines, ensuring that designs are executed flawlessly, safely, and within budget. Your expertise will be key to transforming blueprints into functional, real-world structures. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead On-Site Operations: Oversee project execution with full responsibility for field operations, ensuring projects are delivered to exact specifications, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Solve Real-Time Problems: Be the first responder to field issues, using your engineering expertise to diagnose and resolve challenges on the spot. No two days are the same, and every day offers a new problem to solve.
  • Client-Facing Role: Serve as the critical link between clients, project managers, and subcontractors on-site, ensuring that every phase of construction meets client expectations and Zephyrus standards of excellence.
  • Project Management from the Ground Up: Manage the coordination of materials, schedules, and labor resources directly on the job site, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Guarantee that all work is performed in line with safety standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining a strict focus on the well-being of the team and the integrity of the project.
  • Field Reporting and Documentation: Provide accurate, timely reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions to ensure seamless communication with the home office and senior management.
  • Constant Improvement: Continuously look for ways to improve field operations, processes, and solutions, contributing your expertise to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Education: A Bachelors degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering (or a related field).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a field engineering role, especially within large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and field-testing equipment; solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods; familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and industry standards; proficiency in project management software and field documentation tools.
