Bell & Associates is seeking a Field Engineer. ($100-125k plus bonus) Remote with 50-75% Travel

Bell & Associates has been engaged to find our client a field engineer. The Field Engineer will collaborate closely with the Technical Operations Team to conduct site surveys, oversee installations, support commissioning, and troubleshoot product deployments. This role plays a vital part in managing contractors, optimizing operational performance, and ensuring smooth coordination of installations.

The Field Engineer will contribute to the company’s growth objectives by providing both strategic and administrative support. The primary geographical focus for this role is North America, with potential for international responsibilities. The team operates in a fully remote capacity, with members based across the United States. This position reports to a Program Manager within the Technical Operations Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform site surveys and collect data for energy-related analysis.
• Utilize analytical tools to assess site and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop customer-facing reports on installation and site performance improvements.
• Serve as the on-site representative during installations and oversee installation contractors, working with local electrical contractors.
• Provide daily progress updates to project managers.
• Develop tools to enhance the installation process.
• Conduct final inspections of installations and obtain customer sign-off.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, or a related field (electrical engineering is a plus).
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings, equipment nameplate data, and manufacturer specifications.
• Strong technical writing skills for reports and professional correspondence.
