The Field Engineer will oversee project controls and manage multiple disciplines. Responsibilities include supporting craft superintendents, collecting quantities, scheduling, contract administration, project planning, procurement, and reporting.
The role requires interfacing with clients, engineering/design teams, subcontractors, vendors, and project management to communicate project status.
Location & Travel Details: You can be based anywhere in the U.S. for this traveling, project-based position, which involves up to 100% travel. Projects typically last 8-18 months, with per diem, mobilization support, and extended weekends for time at home.

Responsibilities: The essential functions include representing the company professionally, reporting, safety compliance, quantity calculations, work plan development, quality assurance, labor management, safety training, procurement, scheduling, engineering support, documentation, project controls, budgeting, and client communication.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Support up to 50 crew members temporarily, lead 1-2 field engineers, and oversee some field office staff.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s in engineering or related field, with 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in industrial projects. Knowledge of safety programs, ability to read plans, work in varied environments, and willingness to travel extensively are required.
Physical Demands: Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, work outdoors in various weather conditions, wear safety equipment, and work at heights.
Hours & Travel: Full-time, approximately 50 hours/week, with up to 90% travel required.
