Job summary

PEG, LLC is seeking motivated individuals to join our energy efficiency and building performance team in the Raleigh, NC area. You will become a certified HERS Rater and perform Home Energy Audits, including visual inspections and blower door testing, adhering to RESNET guidelines.

This role involves daily travel to job sites within a 100-mile radius of Raleigh, with paid on‑the‑job training and opportunities for professional development in Energy Star and related certifications.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge and practical field experience preferred.
• Certification in HERS Rater, Energy Star, IECC or related standards a plus.
• Ability to perform energy audits and inspections per RESNET guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform Home Energy Audits per RESNET/ Energy Star guidelines.
• Inspect energy features and collect data for audits.
• Travel within a 100-mile radius centered on Raleigh, NC to job sites.
• Develop professional relationships with builders and code officials.
