Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Paramedic certification.
• Five+ years of field EMS experience.
• Three+ years of supervisory/management experience with coaching and performance improvement.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Associate’s degree in EMS, healthcare administration, or related field; equivalent experience if applicable.
• Demonstrated ownership of operational and financial performance metrics – UHU, response-time compliance, and premium labor spend – with action plans.
• ICS-100, ICS-200, and IS-700 (NIMS) completion before hire or within 60 days of hire.
• Proficiency with EMS software (Traumasoft, ePCR) and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily field operations across the assigned region with EMTs, paramedics, and base personnel.
• Maintain visible leadership presence at bases, upholding professionalism and crew conduct.
• Enforce policy, clinical protocol, and safety standards; document resolutions.
• Deliver coaching and performance feedback in coordination with HR and leadership.
• Lead incident reviews and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Own service recovery for concerns raised by patients, families, and partners; follow-up on commitments.
