Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. The role covers installation, integration, and maintenance of electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV across federal, local, and commercial customers in Texas.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of electronics experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Travel across Texas may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems
• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance is desired
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs
• Configure hardware and software, test systems for proper operation
• Provide technical support to customers and communicate with project teams
• Survey sites, manage tool inventories and ensure safety compliance
• Prioritize tasks and document field conditions for project feedback
