Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, testing, and support across intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, and IT systems for federal, local, and commercial clients.

Requires a Secret clearance and travel up to 25%. HS diploma or GED is required; 4+ years in electronics installation/maintenance are expected. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• An ACTIVE Secret clearance is required.
• Ability to travel: 25%
• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems and customer programs.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Good time management and organization to meet deadlines and quality objectives.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configures hardware and software; conducts site surveys and tests systems for proper operation.
• Provides technical support to customers and communicates with project teams.
• Ensures compliance with safety plans and company policies.
• Installs system raceway, cabling, racks, enclosures, and grounding per NEC standards.
