Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems for federal, local and commercial clients.

This role requires clear communication with project teams and customers. Responsibilities include configuring hardware and software, conducting site surveys, ensuring NEC compliance, and providing technical support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide technical support to customers.
• Ensure safety and compliance with project plans and policies.
• Communicate with project teams and clients to ensure alignment and quality.
