Job summary
Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support FAA TSSC-5 program nationwide. Perform installation, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on NAS systems, following FAA directives and contract requirements.
Requires at least five years in analog/digital electronics and RF knowledge; travel up to 100% within the USA. Work involves reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical orders, with supervision from senior technicians and engineers.
Qualifications
- Five plus years of working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics.
- Fundamentals of RF and communications equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with standard electronic test equipment (DMMs, scopes, generators).
Responsibilities
- Install, relocate, and remove electronic systems per drawings and standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair to the unit, board, or module level.
- Perform testing and preventive maintenance.
- Document work and provide accurate as-built information.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet objectives.
